摘要: Abstract In densely populated delta regions, many freshwater shallow lakes constructed on top of marine deposits and their water tables are maintained at a fixed level. Reintroducing table fluctuations in such will stimulate emergent vegetation development, but potential alterations nutrient fluxes still largely unknown. mesocosm study, we investigated element between sediment pore-water during drawdown over the sediment-water interface subsequent rewetting using sediments from Oostvaardersplassen (The Netherlands). Desiccation lake resulted decline phosphate concentrations (up to 90%), while this was not observed for shore with desiccation history.
