摘要: The family Arteriviridae harbors a rapidly expanding group of viruses known to infect divergent mammals, including horses, pigs, possums, primates, and rodents. Hosts infected with arteriviruses present wide variety (sub) clinical symptoms, depending on the virus causing infection host being infected. In this study, we determined complete genome sequences three variants previously unknown found in Olivier’s shrews (Crocidura olivieri guineensis) sampled Guinea. On nucleotide level, genomes new virus, named shrew 1 (OSV-1), are 88–89% similar. organization OSV-1 is characteristic all arteriviruses, yet phylogenetic analysis groups separately from currently established arterivirus lineages. Therefore, postulate that represents member novel genus. described here first discovery an members order Eulipotyphla, thereby greatly spectrum arteriviruses.
