摘要: Apolipoprotein B plays a central role in lipoprotein metabolism. Many studies have evaluated the association between gene polymorphisms (XbaI, EcoRI, SpIns/Del, MspI) and risk for coronary artery disease myocardial infarction. However, results remain inconsistent, particularly among different populations. To more precisely determine disease/myocardial infarction risk, we performed meta-analysis via comprehensive search of electronic databases (up to February 1st, 2015), odds ratios (OR) 95 % confidence intervals were calculated using fixed or random effect model. A total 47 studies, with 9411 cases 9082 controls, included this meta-analysis. The combined revealed significant associations an increased EcoRI (AA vs GG: OR 1.511, interval (CI) 1.098, 2.078) SpIns/Del (DD II: 1.331, CI 1.064, 1.665) alleles general population. In subgroup analysis stratified by ethnicity, T allele XbaI variant was associated decreased Caucasians, whereas it East Asian No correlation detected MspI either population any ethnic subgroup. our study suggest that may affect susceptibility these effects display notable discrepancies
