Field theory analysis of multiport-multidiscontinuity structures: application to short-circuited E-plane septum

摘要: A generalised scattering matrix (GSM) of the 2-port discontinuity is proposed for use in analysis multiportmultidiscontinuity structures. This gives GSM a simple way and with number algebraic manipulations independent ports. Moreover, they can be cascaded same procedure as two-port discontinuities. leads to simplification structures multiple discontinuities more than 2 An application short-circuited E-plane septum reaction cavities considered. The results show that these used obtain waveguide stop-band filters small size low cost.
