摘要: The carbonate system has been studied in the Florida Bay from 1997 to 2000. Measurements of pH, total alkalinity (TA) and inorganic carbon dioxide (TCO 2 ) were made 20 stations bay used calculate partial pressure (pCO saturation states aragonite (Ω Arg calcite Cal ), results found correlate with salinity. pH was low pCO high for freshwater input mangrove fringe due photochemical biological oxidation organic material. TA TCO are higher than seawater values Ω, November regions where chlorophyll is production. During summer when salinity highest normalized lower average seawater, precipitation CaCO 3 caused by resuspension sediments or loss macroalgae. A transect across near outflow Taylor Slough shows that PO 4 increases as enters Bay. This thought be dissolution waters bacterial photo plant
