摘要: Purpose There is little information existing about the spread of lean among Jordanian construction companies. Building on a report by Diekmann et al. (2004), this paper aims to perform similar investigation first-grade companies assess extent implementation techniques. Design/methodology/approach For purpose, quantitative approach measuring contractors’ conformance practices was adopted. A survey 61 contractors conducted using both e-mails and personally delivered surveys that were completed spot. The results analysed, practice value index, which indicates level implementation, figured out for practices. In addition, an analysis variance determine whether there differences respondents from different fields. Findings The indicated some procedures used consistent with However, no proof concepts company-wide basis. Furthermore, revealed industry lacks “continuous improvement“ mentality, suffers absence error proofing devices provides minimal training at several levels organisation. Originality/value The outcomes study are valuable developers management practices, as it will encourage them adopt holistically identify features not exploited in industry.
