摘要: Endothelin (Edn) signaling via the G-coupled, endothelin receptor type B (Ednrb) is essential for development of melanocytes from neural crest (NC) and has been associated with melanoma progression. Edn3 plays varying roles during melanocyte development, promoting proliferation self-renewal NC-derived multi- bipotential precursors as well survival, proliferation, differentiation migration committed precursors. Melanocyte achieved interaction Ednrb Kit signaling, being specifically required in final step, rather than initial specification melanocytic fate. also implicated de-differentiation mature melanocytes, a process that takes place malignant transformation these cells. was found to be upregulated metastases shown alter tumor-host interactions leading Antagonists this were inhibit cell growth increase apoptotic rate cells, lead disease stabilization patients. Thus, inhibition may prove useful treatment certain types melanoma.
