Combined effects of FTO rs9939609 and MC4R rs17782313 on elevated nocturnal blood pressure in the Chinese Han population.

摘要: Aim: In this study we investigated the association of FTO rs9939609 and MC4R rs17782313 with elevated blood pressure in Chinese Han population, analysed relationship between variants. Methods: We tested variants sequence-retrieval method. Results: The increase odds ratios A allele C for nocturnal were 1.37 1.69. participants simultaneously carrying alleles was significantly higher than those neither nor risk (p 0.05). Conclusion: Our data suggest that may be associated but not daytime levels their combined effects significant population.
