摘要: Backspin rate and friction coefficients have been studied for a range of commercially available wedges multi-piece golf balls using mechanical golfer modified pin-on-disc tester. Analysis shot characteristics with three different surface roughness values two ball types (two-piece ionomer covered three-piece polyurethane covered) was carried out the golfer, whilst testing performed to determine coefficient between covers (with hardness values) steel discs seen wedges. It found that (lower hardness) showed greater backspin than (higher hardness), higher during pin-ondisc testing.
