摘要: Purpose – The purpose of this paper is to look at the continued media attention surrounding defects, and resulting “rework”, in new build projects, especially homes.Design/methodology/approach This evaluates literature on defects rework with an emphasis housing, identifies a number issues within underlying research agenda.Findings Suggestions are put forward as how predictor models may be focused drive impetus for development greater analytical tools which industry participants can use characterize, model, evaluate inform, decisions about rework.Research limitations/implications house‐building segment construction important since it clearly outward facing monitored by range interested stakeholders. findings study will hopefully provide search alternative approaches taken elimination or reduction house defects.Original...
