Anomalous absorption due to development of return current instability

摘要: Abstract We examine the anomalous absorption effect due to ion–acoustic turbulence (IAT) driven by return current instability in a plasma corona relation relevant conditions of direct-drive inertial confinement fusion scheme Russian megajoule-energy level laser facility. find that for created carbon ablator, IAT contributes not more than 10% intensities  ≳ 7 × 1014 W/cm2 at second-harmonic radiation.
