Growth Politics and Downtown Development: The Economic Imperative in Sunbelt Cities

摘要: Urban areas dominated by growth do not follow the same progrowth strategies for development. Some cities have adopted development policies that seek to redistribute costs and benefits of downtown economic This is necessarily, however, an antigrowth strategy but is, rather, a progressive agenda. In this comparative study, characteristics politics are examined through affect commercial neighborhood housing. The distribution such residential sectors indicates different public/private relationships can be found within politics.
