摘要: A new coupled-state expansion for the system wavefunction in an ion-atom collision problem is presented form of integral equation. This approach has property that it not unitary sense norm equal to unity at all times. It thus allows ionised electrons leave target region, as they should but are allowed conventional approaches. Although this with expansions present both one- and two-centred expansions, applies specifically case one-centred (target-centred) wavefunction. With may be possible carry out efficiently calculations a target-centred finite Hilbert basis will remain accurate even when ionisation dominant.
