摘要: In plants, genome sequences and their annotations have a predicted 30,000–40,000 protein-coding genes numerous no-protein-coding coding for microRNAs, non-coding long small RNAs. However, elucidating the biological functions of these remains challenging. Virus technology has become an effective tool to delineate plant gene functions. Indeed wide range virus-based techniques such as virus-induced posttranscriptional transcriptional silencing, microRNA RNA mobility assay, complementation editing been developed investigate in model plants economically important crops. this chapter, we focus on some latest development virus technology, particular that utilized functional genomics authors’ laboratories.
