摘要: Bedforms are defined and their variety outlined. Aeolian bedforms shown to arise spontaneously by a two-way interaction between surface form airflow involving piecemeal material transfer them. They eventually reach dynamic equilibrium transverse elements migrate downwind. Aeolian may be compounded of from four groups i.e., draas, dunes, aerodynamic ripples impact ripples, each subdivided into longitudinal elements. There no transitional forms the one these eight subgroups those another they interpreted as being formed different mechanisms. The possible nature mechanisms is considered qualitative models for development generalised given. Transverse combined in three ways according whether or not element displaced half wavelength on crossing other.
