摘要: Pain is prevalent in myotonic dystrophy 1 (DM1). This study investigated whether CTG repeat size, disease duration, BMI and motor psychological function were related to pain adult patients with DM1, if there gender differences regarding intensity location of pain. Cross-sectional design. was 50 genetically confirmed DM1 by combining clinical assessment self-reports locations. scoring results muscle strength, walking capacity measured 6-min walk test, activity daily life Katz ADL Index, respiratory Forced Vital Capacity BMI. In addition, the degree reported Quality WHOQOL-BREF; fatigue Fatigue severity scale; functions Beck Depression Inventory, Anxiety IQ Autism spectrum Quotient. 84% significantly correlated size (r = 0.28 p = 0.050), duration (r = 0.38 p = 0.007), quality (r = − 0.37 p = 0.009), (r = 0.33 p = 0.02) forced vital (r = − 0.51, p = 0.005). Significant differences, higher scores for females, documented. male subjects number locations autism quotient. activity, prevalent, a strong association lung other aspects disease. present How symptoms differed between female subjects. Our findings highlight importance assessments patients.
