A New Stellar Atmosphere Grid-in 3D

摘要: The main limitation of atmosphere models late‐type stars is the, at best, sketchy treatment convection. Because the top outer convection zone such located in photosphere, has a large effect on both atmospheric structure and emergent spectrum. I present first results from grid 3D, non‐grey, radiation‐coupled, simulations for range parameters. These include calibration mixing‐length, T−τ relations granulation spectra.
