Liver transplantation in a patient with hepatitis B, C and D coinfection associated with hepatocellular carcinoma: a management strategy for a rare condition. Case report

摘要: CONTEXT: Orthotopic liver transplantation (OLT) is the treatment of choice for end-stage disease. Cirrhosis due to hepatitis C infection leading indication worldwide. However, patients who are given transplants because viral diseases often present clinical coinfections, including B together with D. Currently, different strategies exist patient management before and after transplantation, these based on protocols developed by specialized centers. CASE REPORT: We a rare case 58-year-old man chronic B, D coinfection. The cirrhosis hepatocellular carcinoma. His comprised antiviral therapy three viruses OLT. patient's outcome was satisfactory. CONCLUSION: OLT, in association using entecavir, which administered effective sustained clearance viruses. A recurrence responded successfully standard comprising peginterferon alfa-2A ribavirin.
