摘要: In this chapter, we explore two innovative tools for interactive visualization: Google Earth and Maps. renders Keyhole Markup Language (KML) documents viewing on a virtual earth browser, similarly, Maps displays KML-formatted data two-dimensional maps in Web browser. KML is grammar of XML marking up spatial data. With it can place plotting symbols map, augment these points with additional information, overlay R plots the earth, animate that have times associated them, draw arbitrary objects earth. We describe functions developed creating features. also discuss how to embed page create mash-ups using KML, SVG, HTML, JavaScript, R.
