摘要: The goal of this study is to assess the possibility accurate on-line instantaneous velocity estimation in swimming. Having an tool, coaches could provide immediate feedback about performance trainees. More importantly, by monitoring anomaly open-water swimming, safety events can be significantly improved. We have previously introduced a method, using wearable IMU, estimate swimming velocity, though information pool length and complete lap data were needed correct integration drift IMU signals. In present study, we used our previous algorithm for cycle’s mean estimation, as criterion correction without knowledge length. Using simple within-cycle linear model, relative error tested on 8 swimmers 0.1±15.4%. As result, available at end every cycle.
