Study on the electron momentum density distribution and the Fermi surface of the ordered inter-metallic phase B2-NiAl

摘要: Abstract The 2D angular correlation of annihilation radiation experiments were performed to study the electron momentum density and Fermi surface (FS) ordered inter-metallic NiAl. FS NiAl was reconstructed by using a Fourier transformation technique followed Loucks, Crisp West (LCW) folding procedures. We found that affected strong interaction, which originated from hybridization Ni d Al p states. general features this as an running along X–M direction centered on M point, besides two hole surfaces one Γ point other R point. dimensions showed good agreement earlier calculations.
