摘要: We discuss findings and issues regarding community service by youth in the United States, for example: Is school-based required as effective voluntary service, if increasing numbers of are doing why has political engagement not increased? next present a theory proposing that certain kinds can contribute to development social identity. Such would be challenging, bring into direct contact with strange “other,” engage organizations which represent moral traditions. conclude speculations on ways might benefit identity German help resolve tensions contemporary society.
