摘要: Objective: In the present study, a comparative evaluation of phenolic compounds antioxidant capacity and antibacterial activity to several kinds seeds from Apiacea family, which belong: Foeniculum vulgare (Fennel), Anethum graveolens (Dill), Pimpinella anisum (Anise), Carum carvi (Caraway) Coriandrum sativum (Coriander) were carried out. Methods: The total content was measured spectrophotometrically by using Folin-Ciocalteu assay, flavonoids aluminum chloride colorimetric. Antioxidant analysed 2,2-Diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl (DPPH) radical scavenging effect determined also spectrophotometrically. Antibacterial ISO standards. Results: flavonoid contents (Fennel) varied between 115.96 mg GAE/100g 68.10 CE/100g .The is lower (from 17.04 11.10 CE/100g, respecively). highest scavanging observed in with IC50 113.19 ml/L. our methanol extract didn’t have any antimicrobial activity. Conclusions: An original data for are this study. They basis assessment role Apiaceae family dry against free radicals results show that methanolic has contents, high potential Fennel (Foeniculum vulgare), Dill (Anethum graveolens), Anise (Pimpinella anisum), Caraway (Carum carvi) Coriander (Coriandrum sativum). From all results, solvent extracts rich phytochemical possessed activities. Therefore found work might be used further study on various applications such as health supplement pharmaceutical benefits.
