摘要: Mobile phones are now an accepted part of everyday life, with users becoming more reliant on the services that they can provide. In vast majority systems, only security to prevent unauthorized use handset is a four digit Personal Identification Number (PIN). This paper presents findings survey into opinions subscribers regarding need for in mobile devices, their current methods, and attitudes towards alternative approaches could be employed future. It concluded that, although understood appreciated, PIN-based approach under-utilized can, therefore, considered provide inadequate protection many cases. Surveyed responded positively methods authentication, such as fingerprint scanning voice verification. Based upon these findings, concludes non-intrusive, possibly hybrid, method authentication (using combination techniques) would best satisfy needs future subscribers.
