Electrocatalytic and adsorption properties of platinum microparticles electrodeposited into polyaniline films

摘要: Abstract The catalytic and adsorption properties of platinum microparticles incorporated into polyaniline films were investigated using methanol oxidation in acidic solutions as a test reaction. potential dependences the specific reaction rates — stationary currents referred to unit true surface measured for different amounts (25–750 μg cm −2 ). kinetics dependence coverage on concentration established. results measurements compared with effects. It was found that extent effects their mechanism depend microdeposits distribution polymer layer. For moderate high loadings (60–750 ) are higher than those platinized increase increasing up rate smooth platinum. At same time these electrodes remains same. seems such influenced by structural peculiarities deposits. low (25–35 change ratio steps can be observed becomes markedly inhibited limits overall rate.
