摘要: The Tohoku Medical Megabank (TMM) project was established to provide creative reconstruction of the area that suffered from a huge earthquake and ensuing tsunami (the Great East Japan Earthquake, GEJE). TMM aims establish two large-scale genome cohorts an integrated biobank managing biospecimen related information. It supports community medicine by establishing next-generation medical systems through combination prospective cohort studies with total 150,000 participants genomic medicine. strategies for analyses in are develop elaborate reference panel means high-fidelity Japanese whole-genome sequence, design custom single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) arrays based on panel, obtain genotype data all subsequently. Disease-associated information omics data, including metabolomics microbiome analysis, essential platform precision personalized healthcare (PHC). Ethical, legal, social issues (ELSI) education important implementing major considerations ELSI regarding each participant respect autonomy protection privacies.
