摘要: The attenuation of the Doppler shift has been measured for ..gamma.. rays emitted from superdeformed states in nucleus /sup 152/Dy, recoiling a 108/Pd target and its gold backing. transitions high-spin members band are fully shifted, indicating feeding times not more than few femtoseconds. partially shifted low-spin yield quadrupole moment 19 +- 3 exb, excellent agreement with value expected shape.
