摘要: AbstractFenton and photo-Fenton processes were tested for the treatment of wastewater from a local textile industry in Ecuador. The goal this research was to obtain an efficient, easy-to-apply method removal colour, organic compounds, biodegradability, resistant pollutants, toxicity according Vibrio fischeri bioluminescence test. best results Fenton obtained with 100 mM H2O2 0.36 mM Fe2+. Toxicity reduced by 84%, biodegradability increased 0.21 0.6, resulting COD BOD5 concentrations met Ecuadorian legislation. Both temperature UV radiation improved degradation. Detoxification accomplished combination sand filter Fenton.
