摘要: Subsidence over an underground cavity is modeled by assuming the subsiding region to be infinitely long elastic layer that rests on a rigid base and deforms under its own weight into opening lower surface. An approximate analytic solution based Fourier transform methods found for vertical displacements of ground surface roof when thickness much greater than width opening. This model differs from previous models in allowing both traction-free. The shape subsidence trough controlled ratio opening; as value this decreases narrows peripheral ridge forms.
