摘要: Pulmonary vascular remodeling (PVR) is a definitive characteristic of diseases associated with physiological and pathobiological changes that present themselves in the lung vasculature(s). The primary PVR are pulmonary edema hypertension (PH), which prevalent disease many etiologies. lymphatic system important maintaining tissue homeostasis its vasculature provides means interface between immune cells external environment. discussion leads into proximal distal vessel miscellany contexts. Along an in-depth look topics outlined above, chapter further insight fibrocytes: their history, phenotypic description, functional role inflammation, differentiation. We conclude by posing question: “Fibrocytes, bone-marrow derived cell population, they stem cells, or progenitor cells?” provide evidence for against whether fibrocytes modulate contribute to PVR.
