摘要: Reconstruction of a pigmented nipple-areola complex (NAC) is one the final steps in rehabilitating patients following mastectomy. We report results 40 consecutive who had NAC tattooing done by same surgeon. Assessments were made both subjectively using questionnaire, and objectively computer software programme (Adobe Photoshop) to analyse colour NACs. Follow up ranged between six 24 months (mean 14 months). One patient suffered an infection, was only need repeat our series. Thirty-seven (92%) reported some fading which 5% 80% 32%). A grade good or very given 33 (82%) for match, 36 (90%) over all satisfaction, 34 (85%) enhancement body image. An analysis colours tattooed unoperated NACs showed that they similar value from 78% 97% 91%). Tattooing simple safe procedure, despite asymmetry it still has high satisfaction rate. It significantly improves patient's perception objective assessment can be useful tool reviewing outcome.
