摘要: Administration of hepatocarcinogens aflatoxin B1 and N-nitrosodimethylamine to rats caused single-strand breaks in nuclear DNA. Inclusion the diet rutin, a naturally occurring phenolic flavonoid glycoside, significantly reduced appearance such breaks. The protection against DNA damage was found be reduction induction repair enzymes polymerase, polymerase beta ligase. Even associated with poly(ADP-ribose) marginal dose rutin effective this regard. Since inefficient are expected initiate process carcinogenesis, modulation by these parameters emphasizes protective role carcinogenesis induced chemical carcinogens.
