摘要: The aim of this chapter is to provide a review the theory and modeling coastal waves in context nearshore morphodynamic processes. first section deals with linear wave theory, focus on shoaling breaking random shallow water. second reviews important nonlinear aspects motion. third describes nature origins long-period waves, periods range 20–200 s. ends by emphasizing importance feedback between evolving morphology creating morphological features.
