摘要: We investigated two social determinants (i.e., availability of support and status differentials the provocateur) for degree perceived anger in populations. Because no suitable tool was available, conceptual psychometric development validation a new vignette-based measure level (STandardized Experience Anger Measure, STEAM) is described first. Two versions STEAM were developed: one students community-living adults. Through series four studies, sets 12-item questionnaire developed validated. The resulting test had excellent test-retest stability high internal consistency. Using measure, variety analyses conducted to hypothesized influence anger. In student sample, presence associated with lessened anger, both samples decreasing provocateur also led arousal. addition, findings revealed that reduced when higher relative situations equal lesser status. community greater intensity experience condition than or condition. No gender main effects interactions noted.
