Single step synthesis of nano-sized NiO-Ce0.75Zr0.25O2 composite powders by glycine nitrate process

摘要: Abstract Single step synthesis of NiO–Ce 0.75 Zr 0.25 O 2 and Ce powders was successfully achieved by glycine nitrate process (GNP). In this method, a precursor solution is prepared mixing with an aqueous mixed (Ni, Ce–Zr) metal nitrates in the requisite quantities. The heated to evaporate excess water, yielding honey-like liquid. Further heating at above 200 °C caused liquid auto-ignite. Cubic fluorite nature NiO phases identified XRD for as-prepared samples. SEM TEM analysis illustrate foamy microstructural particle sizes range 35–50 nm 12–18 nm BET surface area 5.5 29.2 m /g respectively. Catalytic performance partial oxidation methane Ni–Ce showed 58% conversion time period 12 h good H CO selectivity along /CO ratio 2.
