摘要: PURPOSE With anomalous insertion of the pectoralis minor muscle, its distal fibers pass over coracoid process instead inserting on it, following sometimes a trajectory very similar to that coracohumeral ligament. The aim this prospective study was evaluate frequency detection by ultrasonography. MATERIALS AND METHODS Ultrasound demonstrated abnormal muscle directly visualizing slipping during external and internal rotation humerus. Three hundred three individuals underwent ultrasound shoulders (64,7% female, mean age 45 years), for total six shoulders; 30% (183/606) were symptomatic. RESULTS An in 9,57% examined (58/606), with statistically significant predominance left side (12,2%) compared right (6,9%), women men (4,7%). CONCLUSION an 606 shoulders. There female no correlation symptoms.
