摘要: Abstract Magnetized porous biomass is an eco-friendly detoxification material which highly efficient when used to remove heavy metals from aqueous solutions. Synthesized magnetized iron-oxide-impregnated Lonicera japonica flower (IO-LJFP) was Pb(II), Co(II), and Cu(II) Further, the physical chemical properties of IO-LJFP were investigated using Fourier transform infrared (FT–IR) spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), X-ray diffractometer (XRD). The obtained results revealed that for removal metals. equilibrium kinetics, isotherms, mechanism metal ion sorption onto studied. From overall batch results, found be a rate-limiting step, with pseudo-second-order kinetics Langmuir monolayer on homogeneous surface involved chemisorptions. In addition, thermodynamic studies at 298–328 ± 2 K spontaneous endothermic in nature. demonstrated this study, IO-LJFP, promising, efficient, economical ions industrial wastewaters.
