REHASH: integrating recursive unicast with Hash algorithm to provide multicast service to receivers

摘要: A new protocol called REHASH has been devised in this paper that gracefully integrates the idea of recursive unicast with Hash algorithm to achieve scalable multicast for overall performance improvement. In model, data packets have destination addresses. Therefore, supports pure routers transparently. The key proposed is simplify address allocation and implement distribution using trees. branching nodes recursively create packet copies distribution. adopts source-specific channel abstraction tackle sender access control problems. Consequently, it provides best routes suitable including QoS authentication parameters inside tree construction algorithm. Additionally, management enhanced stability presence group dynamics.
