Dynamic adaptive streaming over HTTP --

摘要: In this paper, we provide some insight and background into the Dynamic Adaptive Streaming over HTTP (DASH) specifications as available from 3GPP in draft version also MPEG. Specifically, provides a normative description of Media Presentation, formats Segment, delivery protocol. addition, it adds an informative on how DASH Client may use provided information to establish streaming service for user. The solution supports different types (e.g., On-Demand, Live, Time-Shift Viewing), features adaptive bitrate switching, multiple language support, ad insertion, trick modes, DRM) deployment options. Design principles examples are provided.
