摘要: -Mass losses from litter bags of surface creosote bush placed along a Chihuahuan Desert watershed were measured to answer the following questions: (1) Do edaphic factors affect organic matter losses? (2) Are there differences in mass between site-dominant plant species and leaf litter? We hypothesized that all types would be higher at base lower on upper portions sitedominant plants than those same site. Mass did not follow moisture-organic gradient present watershed. mid-slope run-on areas upper-slope erosional sites dry lake basin. highest where subterranean termite activity was highest. There some instances, but these attributable lignin content nor C:N ratio. always best described by double exponential model.
