摘要: The debate on global food security has regained vigor since the crisis of 2008, when a sudden spike in prices staple commodities dramatically demonstrated that securing supply and accessibility for world nine billion people 2050 cannot be taken granted (Godfray et al. 2010; Swinnen Squicciarini 2012; Godfray Garnett 2014). More importantly, ensuing revealed views future production systems consumption patterns need to regularly adjusted accommodate new realities issues ranging from continuing urbanization climate change, guide policy actions. Here we summarize key trends relevant actions emerging recent discussions security.
