Optical measurements of impurities in room-temperature ionic liquids

摘要: Abstract The absorption spectra of 1-methylimidazole and 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium bis(trifluoromethylsulfonyl)imide, [EMIM][TFSI], mixtures from 0% to 20% mole fraction are reported at ultraviolet infrared wavelengths. Quantitative measurement in [EMIM][TFSI] is using an isolated feature 1520 cm −1 . UV measurements reveal a 270 nm 260 nm for [EMIM][TFSI]. Absorption 280 nm demonstrated scale with used measure fractions. shown increase around 240 nm upon addition which preliminary time-dependent density functional theory (DFT) calculations identify as intermolecular excitation between 1-methylimidazole.
