摘要: A novel nitrogen doped mesoporous carbon (NMPC) with a hierarchical porous structure is prepared by simple carbonizing the green algae, which applied as host material to encapsulate sulfur for lithium/sulfur (Li/S) battery. The NMPC exhibits high pore volume well large specific surface area, and thus content in S/NMPC composite reaches up 63 wt %. When tested Li/S battery, yields initial capacity of 1327 mAh·g−1 757 after 100 cycles at current rate 0.1 C, reversible 642 was achieved even 1 C. This good electrochemical performance could be attributed unique combination mesopority chemistry, allowing retention intermediate polysuflides within framework.
