摘要: The report presents basic features of the evaporator model, EVAP5M, and simulation results for an operating with R-22 R-407C at non-uniform air refrigerant distributions. EVAP5M was developed under this project to provide a tool simulating finned-tube air-to single-component refrigerants mixtures. tube-by-tube modeling approach allowed one-dimensional non-uniformity in velocity profile arbitrary maldistribution on side. model uses Carnahan-Starling-DeSantis equation state calculating thermodynamic properties. Simulations were performed three slabs different circuitry designs. For maldistributions studied, maldistributed caused much more significant capacity degradation than refrigerant. In some cases decreased as low 57 percent value obtained uniform profile. Simulation showed that have similar susceptibility degradation. Relative change varied depending design studied. 17 refs., 18 figs., 9 tabs.
