摘要: Cardiovascular and kidney diseases are highly prevalent frequently seen in the same patient. This overlap between cardiac diseases, part, relates to common etiologies such as diabetes hypertension. However, there important dynamic bidirectional interactions cardiovascular system kidneys that may explain occurrence of organ dysfunction. In this regard, it is clear inflammation plays an role pathogenesis both renal diseases. Given circulating nature many inflammatory mediators (cytokines, immune cells), tempting speculate can act a mediator cross-talk be involved reciprocal dysfunction encountered commonly cardio-renal syndromes.
