摘要: Isoelectric focusing (IEF) and cellulose acetate electrophoresis were used to examine the multiplicity distribution of aldehyde dehydrogenases (ALDHs), oxidase (AOX) xanthine (XOX) from tissues olive yellow baboons. Five ALDHs resolved distinguished on basis their differential tissue subcellular or substrate specificity. Some exhibited multiple activity zones. Baboon liver differentially distributed in cytosol (ALDHs II, III V) large granular (mitochondrial) fractions I IV). The major (I II) also broadly other tissues, as was stomach enzyme (ALDH-III). Three brain resolved, which between IV) cytosolic (ALDH-III) fractions. Electrophoretic variability individuals observed for mitochondrial isozyme (ALDH-I), minor isozymes IV V). Single forms AOX XOX found baboon extracts, with highest activities intestine extracts (XOX). Both oxidases predominantly localized soluble fraction.
