摘要: The occasional occurrence of primary extra-cutaneous malignant melanomas (MM) has led to the hypothesis that melanocytes derived from neural crest may be arrested in their migration and undergo an situ transformation. However, aggregates nevus cells have only rarely been identified by histological examination a few organs other than skin eye. Tyrosinase is melanin biosynthetic enzyme considered one most specific markers melanocytic differentiation. We at-tempted detect committed lineage, human tissues, means tyrosinase gene expression. Total RNA was extracted normal neoplastic tissues analyzed using highly sensitive reverse transcription PCR assay with primers for gene. Peripheral blood mononuclear (PBMC) healthy subjects were used as negative controls. transcripts wide range such skin, lymph nodes, antrum, colon, kidney, lung, testis, ovary, breast, peripheral nerve. also detected samples including benign cutaneous nevi, nodes involved MM, breast carcinoma, liposarcoma, lymphoma, schwannoma. PBMC patients meta-static MM positive, while no positivity specimens cancers. Therefore, it appears likely expressing are present tissues. Although these still accurately identified, could propose they might correspond either fully differentiated melanocytes, precursors, or Schwann bearing potentialities Occurrence at least some cases ascribed any possibilities.
