摘要: The population size of the Mediterranean Storm Petrel Hydrobates pelagicus melitensis breeding on Cabrera archipelago was evaluated by using capture‐recapture techniques (du Feu estimation) with aid tape‐lures at colonies. Both sub‐adult and adult birds were attracted tape lures a similar rate, both age groups show high degree philopatry to their natal site. recapture ringed in previous years, that originally captured as adults or chicks, has provided valuable information for determination composition mist‐netted during season. Sub‐adult tend visit colonies pre‐egg egg‐rearing stage, while those present sites from July are predominantly birds. New biometry subspecies is given, together evidence moult includes flight feathers, affects non‐breeders breeders. patte...
