摘要: The accumulation and deposition of α-synuclein aggregates in brain tissue is the main event pathogenesis different neurodegenerative disorders grouped under term synucleinopathies. They include Parkinson's disease, dementia with Lewy bodies multiple system atrophy. To date, diagnosis any these mainly relies on recognition clinical symptoms, when neurodegeneration already an advanced phase. In last years, several efforts have been carried out to develop new diagnostic tools for early synucleinopathies, special interest Parkinson’s disease. Protein-Misfolding Cyclic Amplification (PMCA) Real-Time Quaking-Induced Conversion (RT-QuIC) are ultrasensitive protein amplification assays detection misfolded aggregates. Starting from successful application human prion diseases, techniques were recently tested homogenates cerebrospinal fluid samples patients affected by So far, only a few studies limited number performed test PMCA RT-QuIC reliability. Neverthless, shown very high sensitivity specificity detecting synucleinopathies even at pre-clinical stage. Despite biological fluids recent, seem potential identifying subjects that will be likely
