摘要: Abstract A precipitation-hardening copper based alloy (Cu–0.6 wt.% Cr) was selected and the ultra-fine grain (UFG) microstructure obtained by equal channel angular pressing (ECAP). The alloys tensile behaviors fatigue properties were investigated experimentally, results indicated that Cu–Cr processed ECAP possessed high strength sufficient ductility 12-passes ECAPed sample with UFG under strain controlled exhibited cyclic softening lower limit compared to unECAPed one. Moreover, shear bands on surface of cycled samples also studied scanning electron microscopy, showed oriented distribution defects along plane in last processing one major mechanisms SBs formation.
